Service Description

The UK Publicist provides our authors with some serious marketing.

This is our most popular service. With the UK Publicist book marketing campaign, we wanted to provide authors with a level of dedicated marketing that they might believe established, household name authors receive when their book is published.

How it works

This nationwide book marketing campaign is undertaken entirely by Authoright P.R, with an experienced Publicist assigned to raising the profile of the author and their book through skilful negotiation with the media throughout the UK.

You will have a meeting with your dedicated Publicist, during which he or she will use their expertise to identify the angles in your book that should be pitched to the media.

The Publicist will draft a press release for your book and research additional bespoke media to contact, including TV, radio, magazines, newspapers and online reviewers. They will then spend a number of weeks pitching articles, interviews and reviews on you and your book to the media. Where a journalist requests a press copy of your book, we will arrange for a copy to be sent to them.

Good to know

  • High level PR and marketing advice
  • This is very much a collaborative process, the Publicist will keep you updated on a weekly basis at least
  • Rightly or wrongly, the media expect a serious writer to have a Publicist working on their behalf to promote a book, they don’t expect to deal with the author direct

You might also want to consider the Atlantic Publicist package.
